Descaling Tips
Even using filtered water in your coffee maker, mineral deposits will slowly build up in the hot water tank and other internal components. This will eventually result in decreased performance including reduced brew temperature and extended brew time. Bonavita recommends Urnex Dezcal, click here for instructions.
Warranty
We want you to be completely satisfied with your product. Bonavita products come with a limited manufacturer warranty that covers defects in the product materials and workmanship. Please note that this warranty is only in effect if it was purchased from an authorized Bonavita retailer. A list of authorized retailers can be found on our website. The warranty does not cover issues resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, or abuse. As stated in the manual fragile parts like glass are excluded from the warranty. Any service performed by an unauthorized third party, failure to follow instructions designated in the manual, and omitting recommended cleaning and/or maintenance are all included under this category.
If your machine is defective or not working properly within two years of original date of purchase, please contact our Customer Service Department at customersupport@bonavitaworld.com . Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase for the product. Please note that carafe breakage is not covered under the warranty as stated in the manuals. If you experience any issues with your carafe, you can still fill out a warranty claim form and a customer service representative will be in contact with you to provide options for discounted carafe replacement.
Returns
If your Bonavita product requires warranty service, fill out our warranty claim form here. Your claim will be processed within 5 business days. Your product will either be repaired or replaced, depending on the problem.
