Bonavita coffee makers receive SCAA’s Certified Brewing Equipment certification

Bonavita is proud to announce that the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) has tested our coffee makers and have awarded them as Certified Brewing Equipment. The SCAA has very high standards that must be met for coffee makers including the correct water temperature, contact time, and extraction rate. Both the glass carafe version (BV1800) and thermal carafe version (BV1800TH) were certified by SCAA. Our Bonavita coffee makers met these standards and joins a select few coffee makers to brew coffee to this high level.
